| Do you have a minimum order? |
No, we don't. You can purchase 0.5kg or 1kg or 10kg –the choice is yours! Please bear in mind though that standard postage and handling costs applies regardless of the size of your order.
If you are after bulk buying, please contact us with your requirements including delivery address, any specific packing.

| I would like to evaluate your products – what do I do to obtain samples? |
|
We would be happy to send out
small samples of our tea for business buying evaluation. 5 samples maximum
per wholesale member. Please email
us your requirements, along with your company name, ABN/ACN
and contact details including a phone number.
As part of our customer service, our wholesale
members receive free samples and other promotional materials
from time to time, as well as our online newsletters once a month.

| Do
you sell tea already packed into small tins or bags? |
|
At this point we only have a
small range of prepacked products in the stock range. We offer
custom packaging if you require over 4kg per kind, or 2kg per
kind x 4 kinds minimum. For small quantities, we can provide
empty tins or bags for you to package tea economically.

| I
want a special house blend. Can you do that ? |
|
Yup! Why stop at standard range!
If you have a recipe, providing we can source all the ingredients,
we can certainly mix it up for you! Minimum order will depend
on the complexity of the recipe and how easy to source the ingredients. Chat
to us about your special blend today!

| What options do I have for payment? |
Payment is required upon order. We prefer your payment by visa, mastercard* or direct deposit (bank details shown at the end of the purchasing process, on the order receipt)
Any order that is to not paid within 2 weeks from ordering date will be cancelled (we typically send 2 reminders within this period).
*If you are paying by visa or mastercard, you will be billed by Empiro Pty Ltd. ABN 32106826322.

| What
are your delivery charges? |
|

We send all goods from Sydney. Postage & Handling fee is calculated based on 1) your delivery location, zoned by Australia Post depending on your Post Code and 2) the total nett or cubic (volumetic)
weight of the order, whichever is greater.

Cubic weight is calculated by Width x Height x Depth (all in m) x 250
Some tea such as Pai Mun Tan white tea and Chamomile is very light and attracts a larger cubic weight than its nett weight.

Any order over 20kg will be individually quoted.

| How
safe is my purchase over the internet? |
|
Online payment, contrary to the media hype, is a fairly secure way to pay (safer than giving away your visa number to anyone on the other side of the phone...)
We use PayPal’s Payflow Payment Gateway (www.paypal.com.au) previously known as VeriSign Payment Services as our ecommerce payment gateway supplier. Every payment made on www.teas.com.au is fully secured by using PayPal’s high level encryption technology.
When the ‘Confirm Order’ button is pressed, it will take you to PayPal’s secure page where you will enter your credit (or debit) card details. Your bank authorises or declines the transaction and notifies PayPal, who in turn will show you the transaction result. This process takes place in real-time while you wait – typically takes 3-6 seconds.
Upon card transaction approval, you will be taken back to our website (www.teas.com.au).
Paypal Australia uses 128 bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) and the Australian banking industry standard encryption to provide high level security to protect by your and our credit card payment data.
You can tell if your browser (Internet Explorer / Firefox etc) supports SSL for encrypted eCommerce – you should see a padlock on the page where your credit card details are entered.

| Can
I order using phone or fax? |
|
Yes, we welcome phone and fax
orders between office hours 9am to 5pm EST Monday to Friday except
public holidays. However, we do prefer online ordering as it minimises human error / misinterpretation and we take priority in processing online
(internet) orders.

| How
long does it take for my order to be processed and delivered
and how can I check where my order is at? |
|
We endeavour to process your
order within 1 working day once your payment has been cleared.
Please allow 2-4 days for the standard stock orders to be packed
and another 2-10 days for delivery depending on where you are. (We endeavour to send out your order within the same day or the following day after payment is cleared but we do not guarantee it)
We will contact you during processing your
order if there is any item on backorder. Sending backorders to
you will incur no extra charge to you.
If you are using our online shopping cart, an email order receipt will be sent to your email address after you have completed the check out processs. You can log in and under "Membership overview" you will see where your order is at.
An email shipping confirmation will be sent to you once the order has been dispatched.

| What
is your order cancellation and goods return policy? |
|
All sales are final. We do not
normally give refunds if you simply change your mind or make
a wrong decision.
We only accept return of the non-tea/food item sent to you
by mistake, WITHIN 7 DAYS of receipt of goods. Goods has to be returned in its original, resaleable
condition with all of its packaging materials. Before returning
goods that meets the above condition, please contact
us with your purchase details including the 8 digit order
number and we will provide you with information on how to return
the item at no charge to you.

| Do
you ship outside Australia? |
|
Although our core business focus
is the Australian market, we welcome opportunities for "foreign
exposure". Please contact us with your requirement and we
will quote accordingly.
You are responsible for any local import duties, taxes charged
by your country. We do not take responsibility for any delays
in your country caused by the customs / quarantine department.

my personal details from your database be used outside www.teas.com.au? |
|
No. We respect the importance
of maintaining the privacy of our customers. We do NOT sell,
trade, or give away any information we collect from our members.
Please use our contact us form to send us your comments or questions concerning our privacy policy.
We require your email address to send you the email order confirmation and shipping confirmation; and your phone number just in case we need to contact you about your order and you're unreachable by email (eg your email address was not entered correctly).

We source tea and tea accessories
from all over the world. So if you’re looking for something
specific, let
us know. If there is a demand for it, we’ll try to
track it down!
Our specialty is loose leaf tea and we do sell infusers/empty tea bags. We currently do not carry teabagged tea as we do believe to enjoy tea with all its true flavours, making tea with an infuser or teapot is the best way to go. Keep in mind loose leaf tea (especially oolong) and many herbal infusions we carry requires a lot of room to expand in order for the true flavour to come out.
