 Green Tea » Japan
All     China & Taiwan      Japan      Mixed

Receiving much media praises in the recent decades for its health benefits, Japan makes a fine cup of green tea. Its taste is "grassier" than the Chinese counterpart, accompanied with a greener brew.

Attention to making this water – it requires much cooler water (around 60-70ºC) to bring out the greenness in the tea brew. Water too hot will scorch the leaves and cause bitterness!

Go to About Tea/Health section to read more about the studies on green tea promoting wellbeing.
